Blackmores Bio C helps in the maintenance if winter illnesses and respiratory tract function. It may also have a beneficial effect on wounds (due to its role in collagen production).
It has citrus bioflavonoids extract that can improve uptake and utilisation of Vitamin C in the body.
It contains rosehips and acerola which are natural sources of Vitamin C.
Blackmores Bio C does not cause disturbances in the stomach since it is buffered with mineral ascorbates.

Warnings
Consult your healthcare professional before use if you have had renal calculi (kidney stones). Ascorbic acid may increase the risk of recurrence of calcium oxalate calculi.In kidney failure should be separated by at least 2 hours from doses of aluminium-containing preparations. Ascorbic acid may increase the absorption of aluminium. If taking propranolol, separate doses by at least two hours. Ascorbic acid may decrease the absorption and efficacy of this medication.
