Rata honey is produced by bees foraging on northern and southern rātā trees, native to New Zealand's forests. It has a rich, full-bodied sweetness and a beautiful creamy texture — one of New Zealand's most prized monofloral table honeys, with a natural antioxidant content and genuine New Zealand provenance.

Rata honey's robust flavor makes it ideal for spreading, pairing with cheese, adding to herbal teas, or enjoying simply by the spoon. Like all quality raw New Zealand honey, it provides natural antioxidants and enzymes. Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. Crystallization is a natural process that doesn't affect quality — gently warm in a bowl of warm water to re-liquefy if needed.
