Kūmarahou has long been used by Māori as a traditional, naturally foaming cleanser, once nicknamed "gum digger's soap" for its use removing kauri gum from hands. This shampoo draws on that tradition, blending kūmarahou extract with mānuka hydrosol to create a gentle wash that cleanses without harsh detergents.
Handmade in small batches on Aotea (Great Barrier Island), this shampoo is scented naturally with mānuka and geranium oil rather than synthetic fragrance, and has never been tested on animals.
