It contains the omega-3 fatty acid, DHA. Recent research has shown that DHA is important for a child's brain and visual development and it is present in breast milk.
It also contains iron (for red blood cell formation and oxygen transport), calcium (for bone development and maintenance) and iodine (for normal mental development).

Each capsule contains:Folic acid 250micrograms, Potassium iodide (iodine 75 micrograms) 98.3 micrograms, Concentrated omega-3 triglycerides fish 250mg, containing omega-3 marine triglycerides 150mg as: Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) 125mg, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) 25mg, Iron (II) glycinate (iron 5 mg) 18.5mg, Cholecalciferol (vitamin D 360IU) 9 micrograms, Zinc oxide (zinc 5.5mg) 6.8mg, Magnesium oxide heavy 58.1mg (magnesium 35mg), Selenomethionine (selenium 32.5 micrograms) 81.3 micrograms, Chromium picolinate (chromium 15 micrograms) 121 micrograms, Thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1) 700 micrograms, Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 700 micrograms, Calcium pantothenate 2.7mg (pantothenic acid, vitamin B5 2.5mg), Pyridoxine hydrochloride 1.2mg (pyridoxine, vitamin B6 905 micrograms), Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 1.3 micrograms, d-alpha Tocopherol 3.5mg (natural vitamin E 5.22 IU), Betacarotene 2.4mg.
Warnings
Calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron may decrease absorption and efficacy of some medications. If taking tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs), thyroid hormone, methyldopa, carbidopa or levodopa or penicillamine separate doses by at least 2 hours. Vitamin D3 may cause hypercalcaemia (high calcium levels) if taken with thiazide diuretics. Consult your healthcare professional before use if taking a diuretic (fluid tablet).
