Natures Way Hydraplenish Serum with Vitamin C provides hyaluronic acid which absorbs more than a thousand times its weight in water.
When applied topically, this serum creates a barrier to minimise water lose so that the skin remains hydrated, thereby reducing wrinkles, lines and dryness. This barrier has the additional benefit of preventing irritants from the environment from getting into the skin.
Vitamin C is included to promote collagen production to ensure that facial contours remain firm. This vitamin also helps reduce the visibility and size of skin blotches and it can brighten the complexion.
Certain herbs have been included to complement the action of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. These include:
Echinacea purpurea - This herb has been shown promote wound healing and it helps minimise sun damage to the skin. It also hinders the activity of hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid.
Alfalfa leaf and gotu kola - These are traditionally known to have skin healing properties. Gotu kola can also be useful for promoting extensible and firm skin.
